Dayspring’s Come and Be Mission group invites you to join Alexandra Nelligan and Jean Boynton-Brown on Sunday, May 31st for an afternoon of singing followed by a potluck at the farmhouse at Dayspring. It’s been a while since our last circle, and we are SO excited to be picking this back up! We will gather at 4:00 pm for snacks and tea made from the land as we settle in and begin singing at 4:30 pm. Around 6:30/7 pm we’ll wrap up the singing, and all who wish are invited to stay and share a potluck meal.

Alexandra and Jean will guide the group through songs that are simple-to-learn, creating space for praise and wonder amidst the current human experience. We give great thanks for this opportunity to bring our voices and hearts together to sing, as humans have for as long as we know. We hope you can join us.

Our hope is that these gatherings are accessible for all who want to join. Donations are appreciated, and help us to continue offering these gatherings moving forward – contribute what you are able.

An important note: no singing/musical experience or talent is needed – your loving heart is all you need! This is a non-performance-based event, and welcomes every voice just as you are (especially if you’ve been taught you’re a “bad singer”). If you’d like to bring some light percussion, that is welcome too.

We may take pictures and video to share with participants, and to help let others know what it is we are doing here! If you do not want to be in any shared media, please let us know – we will have a section of the room where you can sit and not be recorded.
